---words from the makers---
Why make a brand new music video for a song that was released last year?
Because it is a great song! Sure, the EP was released a year ago, but every day, there is someone in the (internet) world to whom this is a brand new release! These songs might only get "old" to people who've been listening to them for a year - but there are a LOT of people who haven't!
A little about the video itself...
It takes the viewer to hell. The style of the video is quite erratic, saturated and different from the current trend in music videos – I think it really reflects the song! The video is styled, directed, edited and painted by Grete "Stitch" Laus (KillingCulture.com) and I myself held the camera. Oh, and everything was shot in natural sunlight! All the actors are members of the Evestus fan movement, "The New Scum" so I am especially glad I could engage them in something like that – and they did an AMAZING job as you can see!
About the song..
"The Fall" talks about descent (or the fall) into hell and disappointment in God. Musically it's probably one of the strangest pieces I've written in recent years and it's one of those "love it or hate it" songs, because it makes no effort towards being approachable whatsoever.
